Magic Story+ delivers a new personalized hardcover starring your child each month. For memberships billed on magicstory.com, the US price is $24.99 a month plus tax and shipping, compared with $44.99 for a one-time purchase. That saves $20.00 per book.

App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore memberships work differently. They earn monthly credits instead of shipping automatically, and the store sets the price.

New website subscriptions include full-color hardcovers featuring your child's illustrated character. Eligible existing subscribers may still have a softcover plan. Printed on demand through our fulfillment partners.

Membership benefits

For a membership billed directly on magicstory.com:

• A personalized hardcover is selected and shipped each month.
• You can choose a different title before billing and order processing begin.
• Your account lets you pause, skip, cancel, update the hero, and manage payment and shipping details.

Memberships also include digital access to purchased books in the Magic Story app, available on iOS and Android.

How is the next book chosen?

Magic Story+ selects a book based on your child's story history. Before your next billing date, open the subscription in Account > Subscriptions and select Change next book to choose a different title. This cannot change a book that has already been ordered and is processing.

How is this different from a one-time purchase?

At US prices, a one-time purchase costs $44.99 for one personalized hardcover. Magic Story+ costs $24.99 per month and sends a new book automatically. Shipping and tax are additional.

What if I subscribed through an app store?

The App Store, Google Play, or Amazon Appstore bills your membership at the price shown in that store. You earn one credit each month instead of receiving an automatic shipment.

These memberships do not include the website's controls for changing the next book, delivery frequency, or a saved shipping address. Can I pause, skip, or cancel?

For memberships billed directly on magicstory.com, all three options are available from your account:

• Skip moves the next billing date forward by one calendar month and delays that delivery.
• Pause stops billing and shipping for 1, 2, or 3 months and preserves your current rate.
• Cancel ends future subscription billing and deliveries. Follow the deadline in our cancellation guide to avoid the next charge. To restart later, check your account for a restart option or contact support.
