How does Magic Story+ work?

Magic Story+ sends a new personalized hardcover starring your child each month. Create the child's illustrated character once, choose the next story or keep the curated selection, get member pricing, and read subscription books in the Magic Story app. There is no long-term contract, and you can pause or cancel anytime.

How is this different from other personalized books?

Magic Story goes beyond changing a name. One photo becomes an illustrated character with your child's recognizable face and outfit. Then the child gets the important role in a cinematic, Pixar-quality adventure: facing the fear, solving the problem, helping a friend, telling the truth, or trying again. That is why 150,000+ families have chosen Magic Story.

Can I see a preview before I commit?

Yes. Upload one photo, add your child's name, and get a free personalized book preview in about 2 minutes. You can also explore story pages featuring the book's sample character before you choose a book. No credit card is required.

What can I customize?

Your child's name, illustrated likeness, and outfit appear throughout the story. Available choices vary by book, and the personalization flow shows what you can select before checkout. Companion titles can also include a parent, grandparent, sibling, friend, or pet.

What age is this book for?

Magic Story books are designed for children ages 2 to 10. Younger children can enjoy them as read-alouds, while older children can follow the problem, choices, and details in each adventure.

How many pages are in each book?

Most Magic Story books contain 21 to 28 full-color illustrated story pages, plus front and back covers. Check the product details for the exact format of the story you choose.

Can I include more than one child or a pet?

Yes, in books built for companions. Look for titles that include a parent, grandparent, another child, or the family pet. The personalization flow for each book shows which characters that story supports.

What quality is the book?

The 11.25 by 9 inch landscape hardcover is printed in full color on premium paper, with a sturdy binding made for repeat reading and a consistent cinematic illustration style from cover to cover.

How fast does it ship?

The current shipping options and estimated arrival dates appear at checkout for your address.

How is my photo used?

Your photo is used to create your child's illustrated character. For current details about storage, processing, and deletion requests, read the Magic Story Privacy Policy or contact support@magicstory.com.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no long-term contract. You can pause or cancel your subscription from your dashboard before the next book is processed.

Do I get digital access too?

Yes. Subscription books are also available in the Magic Story app, so your child's library can travel without the hardcover.

Can I choose which book my child gets?

Yes. Choose from the available library, or keep the curated selection when you want an easy next pick. You can review the story before it ships and swap when another adventure fits your child better.

Your child greets Mr. Whackadoodle and notices the birds everyone else passes. That choice reveals a true hero. They speak up and earn the Defender Suit, flying cape, warning ring, and three tiny helpers called the Bambareenoes. Their first mission proves that heroism begins by paying attention and choosing to help.
