Can I see a preview before I buy?
Updated October 8, 2026 · 1 min read
Yes. Upload a photo and create your character to see a free personalized preview. You will be asked for your email address, but no account or credit card is required.
You can see a free personalized preview of your child as the hero before you buy a book.
How does the free preview work?
Upload a photo, choose your child's eye color, and enter their name. Magic Story then creates an illustrated preview of their character.
You do not need an account or credit card to see the preview. During character creation, you will be asked for your email address to save your progress. Payment details are requested only at checkout.
What if the character does not look right?
You can generate a new preview before you buy. Review the result before continuing to checkout. Nothing is charged until you complete your purchase.
What can I preview after creating the character?
You can browse sample pages for the book you are considering. Those interior pages show the book's sample character so you can review the story before buying.
